IndustrialWG&R UK provide telecommunication services
to the industrial sector. Below are a few examples of recent
industrial communications projects.
Deeside Power Station
This project consisted of the running of multimode fibre optical cables
between the control room, administration block, training block & maintenance
block via underground ducts and fusion splicing pre-terminated SC pigtails.
WG&R also installed 200 cat6 Brand-rex RJ45 outlets in the various
buildings.
Yaskawa Electric UK.
At Yaskawa in Cumberland, WG&R installed both fibre and copper cat5e
cabling to outlets along production lines, which were involved in the
production of power inverters.
Syngenta
At Syngenta Chemicals, we have a permanent presence on site. WG&R
provide support to the telecoms infrastructure, carrying out new
installs, moves & changes, and updating patching & jumpering records.
Borg Warner Turbo Systems
On site at Borg Warner in Bradford, WG&R flood-wired the factory with
cat5e Krone, shielded LSZH cables and factory ceiling mounted
distribution boxes. This enabled the cat5e leads to be dropped
from the ceiling in copex directly to the machinery.
